Amista 2023 Rosé de Tres
This wine has a beautiful pale salmon color. Aromas of white raspberries, yellow peach, tangerine oil, yellow roses and a hint of meyer lemon zest. The palate is bright with beautiful notes of citrus: satsuma orange, meyer lemon, kumquat and citron. There are subtle notes of lemon verbena and nice floral notes. The finish is bright and crisp with good acidity and minerality. Just delicious!

Tasting Notes

Vineyard Notes
The 2023 vintage was a nice reprieve from the dry vintages of the last 5 years. We had TONS of rainfall during the winter and spring, which was followed by a very temperature growing season. While the weather eventually did get warm in early September, that nice slow and long even ripening was so nice for our grapes.
Production Notes
Our Rose of Tres is a blend of three different varietals, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. We make our rose from saignee which means that when the grapes are brought in for red wine, we saignee a small portion from the tank and keep it as rose. We ferment and age this wine in neutral oak barrels and bottle after just 6 months.
