The first thing to notice about this beautiful wine is the incredibly aromatic nose. It is filled with aromas of chocolate covered cherries, raspberry and strawberry, with hints of floral notes such as lavender and orange zest. On the palate, the wine is perfectly balanced. The rich sweetness of the wine is nicely counterbalanced with great acid and soft, lush tannins. Candied orange zest and more fruit dance on the palate, making this wine a perfect ending to any meal.

582 cases made, 375ml bottles; 50% Syrah, 50% Zinfandel
Winemaker Notes
This very unique port-style blend comes together using a blend from the best vintages and the best of our vineyards. To make the port, we first start by tasting and picking the grapes at a normal sugar level (about 25 brix). We ferment the Syrah and Zinfandel separately and when each varietal gets to the desired finishing sugar level (about 6.5%), we add brandy to stop the fermentation and leave a wine balanced in sugar, acidity, tannin and acid.
